Winning on the flop, but...

Post: # 35220Post richlizard

Many years ago, we used to do these little teaser things and for the life of me I cannot remember the answer to this and it is doing my head in.

The question...

You are winning after the flop, but you cannot possibly win the hand. What is the scenario?

:help: :help: :help:

How many opponents?

So you have :77: :22:

Flop is :33: :33: :44:

And you can't win when your opponent has :55: :66: ?

What if turn is turn is :77: and river is :77:

Just saying.

But the turn was a 4, so it's correct!

No one said what the flop turn and river has to be?

That is winning on that flop yes or no?

And you have no chance to win the hand, split it yes.

72 v 56 on a 334 flop

But the turn was a 4 :D :D :D :D

What if turn was ace river was king :D
Or another hundred combos that the 7 2 could still be winning with :D

Might not be as bad as my answer but its a contender :D

Think you reading the question wrong simon, its you are ahead after the flop, and no matter what the turn and river is,its impossible for you to win the hand,so what would the two cards your holding and the two cards the other player is holding and the flop have to be to make it imposible.

Eh? So you are looking to make sure he doesn't win by planting cards?

The question is he CANNOT win, not he won't win 'cos you rigged the deck!!
