British justice???

Seems an appalling court ruling to me.

Old dear of 80 yrs forgets to put her car in park or neutral and maybe handbrake also gets out and car starts rolling backwards , jumps back in and hits the pedals and wipes out her friend of 70 years with a still open door.

Is anyone remotely surprised at some old duck screwing up with a car?????

I am sure she feels bad enough at losing her friend without our heroic court system sticking their fukin oar in and giving her 100 hours of goddam community bollox .Report I saw didn't mention whether or not she got a ban which ofc is equitable for the offense a criminal conviction is not.

CPS should hang their head in shame.

I agree Bill.

She should also 100% be banned from driving for life because no proper driver with all their senses intact would ever do that.

I once opened the door of my car which was on a bit of a bank in Tenerife for my mates wife. the door swung open with great vengeance and she went down and broke her leg!

Was quite funny until we realised it was serious!
