Seems like it was a pretty good year for a few of the older established players this year with the following winning bracelets :

Eli Elezra
Michael Mizrachi
Greg Mueller
John Hennigan
Steven Chidwick (Great player IMO) UK
Luke Schwartz UK
Scot Seiver
Nick Schulman
Juha Helppi
H Ensann (Main event)

Another UK player Carl Shaw won a bracelet giving us 3 in total.

Also 2 ladies won open events for the first time in a good few years, Susan Faser beat 1,723 runners and Tu Dao beat 193 mugs.

There's probably more older school winners that I don't know, I've lost touch because all the mags I used to order are no longer about. Bluff Europe was my favourite but you can only pick that up from the casino's unless you boys know better ???

Elezra has been getting coated of late, after opening up an 'ask me anything' thread on 2p2 to promote his book that was being released, and then loads of people coming out saying he owed them dough that he had never paid back.

Lots of people reckon Chidwick is the best player in the world at the moment.

Schulman might be my favourite person in poker, him and Nejad are the dogs bollocks on that PokerGO.

No surprise I spose about a poker player owing dough and not paying back.

I agree that Chidwick is the best right now as I kinda said in my opening post, he normally plays bundles of games at the WSOP but didn't turn up till event 45 this year when he won his bracelet after busting 273 players in the $25,000 PLO high roller for $1,600,000, not a bad 2-3 days work.
