Looks like a fun weekend, missing having a laugh playing poker whilst I am trying to take it seriously.

Anyone fancy it? It's central.

Need 3 players for a team?

Just to help anyone who is having trouble opening the link, also to help me remember how to post pictures here.

I have a team in this. Myself, Mick Mccloskey, Adam Wilco and our very own Banksy x

The Friday night thing is an absolute 1st and I really can't wait. BCPC was asked to host a social evening for APAT and it looks jolly fantastic with pool and poker and a bar until 3am :o Hic! (Both my APAT and BCPC families all together socially is just a dream scenario)

What state we will be in for Saturday afternoon I dread to think. But I still expect to win it :D

Would be great to see some of you guys there.

Welcome back to the loony bin, loopy!

Say hello to Adam for me. Used to see him everywhere when I was playing a lot live.

Good lad, and not seen him since Vegas a few years back.

Good luck, alco team

Thanks Marky.

Never mind "offski the week after" get your ass down there, YOLO. It's cheap and cheerful.

Remember one time on here I was raving about the biggest tastiest cheapest Indian mixed grill I ever had (served up in paper and wrapped in tin foil, as we had it in a side room) It was here. Amazing, ask Steve (Villain) Could have fed a small country.

Yeah, Adam does get about a bit, how he still manages to run his business' so well I have no idea. Think he does Vegas at least a couple of times a year. He was over here in Portrush for the Golf Open (he's from here) but I didn't get to catch up. Saw him a few weeks ago in Coventry.
Lovely guy indeed, love him to bits, proper gent (but when we played for Team NI he tried to bet me off with 5 2 the **** ... save that play for the opponents  )

Shot myself in the foot. Booked into the Hilton at the NEC for 3 nights .. Mick just rang to talk about how we are getting to The Talbot and tells me its 20 miles away from our Hotel :o WTF? I had no idea and now can't amend my booking (booking.com you fuckers again)

i played in BCPC comp 2 years ago in Brum, but found it a weird setup, playing 3 STTS WITH POINTS AWARDED for position. Managed to win one of them and won £30 for doing so, DOWNSIDE was a lot of dead time between each game as if you blowout early you had to wait for all the other games to finish, before starting game 2, same again with game 3.if this is similar only the top 10 point players after the STTS played the final table 3 places paid. UPSIDE, they are a good crowd very friendly, just my opinion but if i'm traveling i prefer to play something were you at least have a chance of a decent bink,so not for me. :bang:

Way to NOT help the guys get players Foxy, well done.

But what a crock of old crap you speak.....

Firstly the BCPC game AND pool comps are ONLY the SOCIAL EVENING but they have put on a tourney (£40 pp for 2 man tag team PLO and NLHE) like games at a party. You can join poker or pool or both on the Friday night and eat the best food, and drink the very cheap booze until 3am. You don't even have to play the comps, you can just socialise. But this is just 2 chances more to make money or "bink" as you call it.

The ACTUAL team event is in Resorts World in the NEC starting on Saturday afternoon, with a schedule so full of games you won't get time to bless yourself. That is £90 pp over 2 days. (30 teams of 4)

On the Friday there is also a £50 charity event at the casino if people were there and didn't want to go to The Talbot for the SOCIAL. (nothing to do with BCPC or APAT)

I wouldn't miss this whole thing for the world, as I said before, the Friday night social between the two camps is a total 1st. Great stuff.

PS, WD on the 1st place Foxy, (I know, I was there) if that's what the post was really about. But best read stuff before you answer next time. Good boy.

what i commented will not sway anyone either way, it was an honest opinion, but on another note, your back a month almost, are you going for number of posts record again? A crock of old crap? i take that as a compliment as you are an expert in that field, and yes i did read the APAT/BCPC post thankyou, surprised you had time to reply with you being so busy with things to do. Nothing to do with winning £30, that was to show value or lack of it, yes you were there as team cpt, flirting with mr muscles,as i recall

P.S. welcome back.

Let be start by saying, again, what a crock of old crap.

It would just have been easier for you to say sorry and move on, but instead, you decide to cover your bullshit by firing at me...cos that works on KK, right?

Why bring up how busy I am? ...I am in fact writing this as my bath is running, that's how busy I am....I have a date tomorrow which involves wine, wellies, beaches, trees rivers and a picnic .. Think that's most of tomorrow gone.

As for Mr Muscels ... I do not flirt, in fact quite the opposite. I am aloof and quite unapproachable. (not always deliberately so) He went back to his hotel to change his shirt to come back and flirt with me. And so fucking what?

Again you are going on about my posts or how many times I post. WTF has it got to do with you? Are you trying to stunt the forum to have fewer posts? Mine may not be everyone's choice but you don't have to read them, and it is better than waiting for the likes of you to post every time they have something negative to say or say FUCK ALL and leave the forum dead. I will post until I find nothing to post about, period. And if I haven't been here for a while ofc I will post as much as I can to open. I have more to say.

Absolute bullshit about the £30 prize. What has that got to do with the value of making the trip? It was a team event, the prizes were in the winning teams, the £30 was only a gift for those who happen to win their tables, save them getting nothing at all for a 1st place. How is that showing "value or lack of it"?

The main thing here (prize wise) is an APAT team event that you happily travel for on other occasions.

So cut the crap and admit you are wrong.

P.S.

For the "welcome back", I thank you.

Yup Foxy your are skating on thin ice as Mucky is currenty upset coz Capachino or whatever hes called is leaving Spurs to look for a more dynamic and forwards looking club!!!!! apparently Brentford is in the running.

I know after my enthralling political posts and Rivhers cornering of the powernode market ,Dougie and Tims conversions into the holy church of Trump and Tanks announcement about him getting the new lead role in the sequel to "man in the high castle" Muckys on off romance with Rich or anyone else or her flirtations in the world of espionage not forgetting the dark arts ofc may seem trivial and mundane to you but she as a valued member puts bums on seats so to speak so play nice not to nice tho haha.

I'm all for the banter MrBandit, in fact, it would be a pretty poor show without it. But Foxy oversteps the mark at times and will always try to make derogatory comments on my posts, not just here but on FB as well.

Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it just isn't, and way too personal. I don't mind it in AR, but not on my personal wall. People forget I am a human being with a personal life, not only do my friends read that stuff but my family .. my children. I ask that people be mindful of that fact.

I do not include any of my family in my poker world or posts.. I choose not to have any family members in AR. Even my brother who is also a player. He would be shocked to read some of the bullshit that is said to me or about me.

But like I said .. happy to take all that is fired at me and I will fire back. What I do personally though is unknown to the world and generally made up, or made more of than is fact. It becomes tiring. I speak openly about myself. I am ashamed of nothing. So if you didn't hear it from me and it's about me .. pinch of salt required.

PS

That's cos Stevie Wonder is not in one of your late-night reading "Men with muscles" magazines, that you keep beside your bed.
