MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
I am snowed under with work so have had to take a step back.
Nick has offered a 32Red Madrid package to the trio group - KK / AR / JB
Nothing has been done about it since the original offer so you will need to liaise with Nick, Mucky and Jake of Jakeback to sort a format that ultimately gives a package to the winner.
Probably going to be half a dozen games or more between now and then.
Anyone willing to step up to the plate?

Perhaps we could run the Xmas games with a package added?

Will pass your name on Paul. Nick has something lined up I think. But then he said that 4 weeks ago, due to start on 7th October!Paulscot1 wrote: ↑November 3rd, 2019, 6:46 pmI will arrange if needed.richlizard wrote: ↑October 30th, 2019, 8:35 amI am snowed under with work so have had to take a step back.

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Good idea that, but is it one package per collective or three packages total?Paulscot1 wrote: ↑November 3rd, 2019, 6:46 pmI will arrange if needed.richlizard wrote: ↑October 30th, 2019, 8:35 amI am snowed under with work so have had to take a step back.

If just one could call it Battle of Xmas and have a tear up with AR and Jakeback?
Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
I just asked Angie on fb, she said it's too much for her, she will have a nervous breakdown.
Apparently it's hard work to organise.
Surely Nick can organise a format for all three groups and set it up?
What else needs to be done?

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
How about some sort of knock out format, something new?
You start with all players, then the bottom x% get knocked out and the rest go through to 'day 2'.
Then you keep knocking out until there is the two top players who fight out for a package heads up?
No idea how many players we would have total as I do not know much about Jakeback?
Would depend on numbers if viable or not?

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Easiest way would be 5 freezeouts, where everyone can enter (us/jakes/ar)
Top 3 from each game goes through to the final (15 players in total)
That gives everyone 5 chances to make the final (if needed)
And it also means ,players who cant make every game (like me) can still have a few shots at getting to final for a chance of a package.
Have each game €10 euro buy in,with all the buyins from the 5 games ,going into the final pot,so theres some decent cash prizes for the runner up 3rd and 4th etc who reach the final but dont win the package.

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Boys, you had your chance to organise so leave it to Nick, Paul and the other organisers. Let you lot loose and we'd be playing drinking games within an hour!
Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
From what I can gather is no other organisers, or it stagnated a while back?LittleMate wrote: ↑November 12th, 2019, 9:47 pmBoys, you had your chance to organise so leave it to Nick, Paul and the other organisers. Let you lot loose and we'd be playing drinking games within an hour!
And Jake apparently wants it to run into January lol!

Nick stop being a tight mug and give KrackedKings it's own package, and Lizard promises to wear your patch at every event!

Ps yeah sounds good Doug to me mate.
Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
If it was a league format with points awarded,it would come down to a situation were some players couldnt win,and maybe help their forum mates out who could win,not that kk would do that
but other two mobs prob as dodgy as fuck

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
No one has to liaise with me now Foxy I left the skype group a couple of weeks ago, I asked Ryan (metalface) Davey to take up the AR captainship and he agreed, time ran out for me. He could twitch the whole thing, which was my intention to do, even bought new equipment for it. It would have been fun for both sides to twitch.
We have already put forward most of the things written here and we had agreed most stuff, except how to pay out the package in the final which made no difference to setting the lobbies up to get us started.
We were gonna do €5 1r1a 2 times a week for how many weeks we had the time for blah blah blah ... we had initially just wanted a KKARrash over the month on Nov giving us plenty of time to get our teams together etc, but Nick had a plan and so "3s a crowd" was born. I say born but probably in primary school by the time I left. We started all this on the 9th Sept.
Nick is a very lovely very well-meaning guy, but he is also very busy trying to manage 32red alone. He wanted the games to start on the 8th Oct and it was already the end of Sept by this stage. It is now just stagnant as far as I know.
I was sorry to have to pull out but I had said it several times, if we didn't get it started I would not make it. I have too much live stuff going on. And if I am totally honest now, I have just lost interest.
Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Bullshit, it's the easiest thing in the world to organise, fuck me we have done this kinda thing many a time. It's the people management that is so time-consuming. We had that part sorted basically they just were not being set. We do not have the power to set them. Simple.
Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Are you still going to do twitch streams angie.now you have the equipment ?
Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Yes, gawd help me. I was very honoured to be asked to twitch for 32Red a while back. But I sadly declined the offer as I just wasn't ready to commit. (Jesus, me committing to anything or anyone seems a hardship) I would rather do my own thing when I feel the want or need (like everything in my life) But I haven't ruled it out. (though a tad late now)
I am gonna change my dressing room to an office for total poker playing and twitching etc. But, like I said I am so busy with live and life right now, it will probably be early next year when I get set up the way I feel comfortable.
Sadly for a lot of us, things will just never be the same when Microgaming finally closes its doors ... I think I will be the one switching the lights out as I will grip on til the very end.

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Sweet, AR pulled out, Jake not interested, so thanks Nick a package for our Xmas Tournaments, he is a great guy I can't deny it.ladymucky wrote: ↑November 14th, 2019, 1:34 pmNo one has to liaise with me now Foxy I left the skype group a couple of weeks ago, I asked Ryan (metalface) Davey to take up the AR captainship and he agreed, time ran out for me. Please do a twitch, I think it would be highly entertaining, you could be the next youtube star fighting Froggy on Sky Sports PPV this time next year?ladymucky wrote: ↑November 14th, 2019, 3:08 pmYes, gawd help me. AR has not pulled out, Ryan has asked what's going on and Nick has said: "nothing yet" ... Jake seemed very interest, even wanting it prolonged. But maybe he's tired waiting now, I have no idea, I can't speak for other people.Rivher wrote: ↑November 14th, 2019, 9:29 pmSweet, AR pulled out, Jake not interested, so thanks Nick a package for our Xmas Tournaments, he is a great guy I can't deny it.ladymucky wrote: ↑November 14th, 2019, 1:34 pmNo one has to liaise with me now Foxy I left the skype group a couple of weeks ago, I asked Ryan (metalface) Davey to take up the AR captainship and he agreed, time ran out for me. I can't see whats going on in the Skype group, cos I left it.
Maybe Nick has put another expert on the case? (inhouse joke)

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
I got 2 weeks off from tomorrow and not going anywhere! So will have time to update tables if we can get the games organised asap and set up. To make it easier I think everyone in KK/AR/JB all register in the same tournament but do 4 tournaments so its a league format!
Points go on entrants so for example 45 runners, 1st gets 45 points, and 45th gets 1 point. At the end the person with the most points wins the package, if its a tie then a playoff game for the people on tied points! Stick with the 5 Euro 1R1A format so makes it more affordable for everyone. 8pm start with 30 mins late reg so hopefully get more people involved. Propose 1st game 11th Dec, 2nd game 13th, 3rd game 15th, 4th game 18th and I can update all points after each game on a spreadsheet and screenshot and put in all groups.
If tie Playoff needed then that can be sorted out between the playoff players! Let us know asap. I will send this screenshot to Nick to see what he thinks too! Off to make the little ones lunch for tomorrow she literally got to bed 5 mins ago!!! Thanks
People up for this?

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Any chance it could over six tournaments and take the best results from four of them, this would prob mean everyone could manage at least four.
Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Good shout! If we did 2 games at the same time on those nights so 8 games and best 4 scores count?
1st game 11th Dec, 2nd game 13th, 3rd game 15th, 4th game 18th
I am off from Monday 9th Dec and back to work 23rd Dec, so that's why I can volunteer to organise to tally up points and post tables to all the groups in that period of time in the morning whilst little one at pre school 3 days a week. I am crap at excel but I know how to use the auto sum button! so I would do a sheet with all scores and then the final sheet with everyone's best 4 scores so everyone can check I not mucked anything up!

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Guys we tried to make suggestions but Nick kept saying he had things in hand.
I don't even know if there is a package available now. I am guessing Nick didn't add Paul to the planning group.

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
Oh ok, thanks for heads up Rich, I messaged Nick my screenshot and sent him link for the thread so see what Nick says

Re: MADRID PACKAGE - LOOKING FOR AN ORGANISER
I have heard nothing since agreeing to help.
Still available if needed.
Would be good to have some Xmas games regardless.
Sounds like we might get some good WWYDs and someone could even do a wilt.
