Durtnell + Sons been in the building game a good while surviving wars, plagues and Labour governments succumbed to the wounds inflicted upon them by this strong and STABLE gov!!!!! damn shame.

35 years my firm
We are struggling too
I’ve lost £25 k in the last 6 weeks by only having 2-3 days per rig per week and one subbie done 2 weeks out of 6 for me
If it don’t pick up soon / end August
We be packing up too
House up for sale
Downsize etc

Founded in 1591 - sounds like they went for low margin risky contracts, like Carillon, Kier etc etc. All going through a tough time after cutting each others throats.
