Maybe a tad specific....

I'm staying in the centre tonight without a car. Is 235 my best bet for a game that actually starts or somewhere else?

Completely forgot this is where we had the KK Manchester forum do, only realised when I got to the card room.

Remember the escalators behind the card room? They squeak like fuckery, like fingernails down a board, this may be a very short visit.

£15 pre with 32o has not endeared to one local.

Stupid game this two card malarkey, no idea how anyone doesn't die of boredom.

Anyway, highlights were playing three hands blind and making trips, trips and a house. That went down well.

The fun of being able to overbet the pot is one of nlhe's few redeeming features. Just about the same time the blind raises was playing out I bet £22 into £16 when I turned a set of twos. Betting £222 to put him all-in on the river was pretty funny (to me anyway).

So when he raised to £10 pre next hand and I bet £500, he was like " wtf? Do you have aces? I have the second best hand possible." I think he was genuinely thinking of binning Kings. Would have saved himself £230 if he did, window card was an A and the Q on the flop to make two pair just rubbed salt into the wound.

There is apparently an Omaha game at the Bury road G tonight so goibg to try and make it, be good to buy a round if anyone is about.

Managed to turn £400 into £66 fairly quickly trying to play properly - I really am fairly crap at nlhe cash - reloaded, played like a gibbon and after dinner, drinks and a boat load of tips ended up leaving about twenty quid down.
