Live cash games

Went up the casino on sunday night (drunk as fuck)
Sat in the £1/£2 cash game.
Bought in for £100 .
9 players .3rd hand ime in bb and get dealt qh jh
Under the gun has stradled to £4... 5 more callers untill it gets to me. So £27 in pot .and i think .that will do me nicely and move all in for another £97 .
Only one caller .a chinese guy in mid position.
Flop q 10 6 turn 2 river 5
He turns over 10 6 offsuit. as i left i heard him saying to a few others at the table easy money and laughing about me only lasting 3 hands.
Ime going to go down sober one night and take all these cauliflowers money.
Some if the worst poker players ive ever seen .and they buy in for thousands.
WATCH THIS SPACE.

OK the guy getting involved with 10-6 is appallingly but if you sat down with only 50 bigs (pissed) to most players that looks like a definite hit n run. My range for calling (not 10 6) is wider than a catholic choirboys arse hole!

Ive watched the game a few times (without playing ) tim. Thats their normal type of play (suppose i really shouldnt have tried to steal the pot knowing that) especially some of the chinese.they buy in for thousands and are in most pots no matter the size of raise.just hoping to out flop the other player in the hand.
They are NOT COLLUDING its normally only one at a time who will call a big raise.
Just need to figure out a way to beat them.even if you get AA and raise big .you never know what they have.no matter how safe the flop looks.
ANY ADVICE ?

I hear ya mate. We used to have a few loaded players in games I’ve played and it’s gamble gamble. The only way I found you could stand a chance of beating it was to sit really deep and play lots of flops. Short stacking isn’t the worst strategy but not for me mate

Keep it tight, I would just call there with JQs and when you hit bet big and make them pay for any draws, limp in EP with AA KK, someone sure to raise. And like Tim says lots of cheap flops. It can be boring especially when you're not hitting but patience will pay off and you should do well in these games.

I like how you say that they are not colluding.

The fact that only 1 player calls suggests that to me that they are. As in they will not play against each other and perhaps take it in turns to go against others. ie team playing you.

Tbh Paul the best colluders I’ve seen generally play in twos and are either side of a target. Even seen them jump quickly from a seat at the table into a recently vacantly slot. Easy to spot but not if you aren’t a reg, or in Dougies case, pissed :)

If you play at a table made up from locals like the group of players from your regular casino you tend to get, any decent live player will pick them up within a couple of sessions Bill. If you don’t you aren’t paying enough attention.
